Need a vendor of record in Northern California or Reno?

Self-performing every building is rarely realistic when your contracts stretch across several states. When a client adds a site in San Jose, Walnut Creek, Sacramento or Sparks, your team needs someone nearby to clean it, report on it and pick up the phone. Continental Facilities can be that local vendor for national and regional facility management companies, under a contract signed directly between your company and ours.

The properties in our territory cover a lot of ground: multi-tenant office towers and suburban business parks on the Peninsula and in the East Bay, medical office buildings, retail and shopping centers, apartment common areas, and distribution and flex space from Hayward down to Stockton and over to the Truckee Meadows. Cleaning, porter coverage, floor care and exterior work are all handled by our own program, so one vendor relationship can cover a building inside and out.

Tickets go through your system, not ours

Continental does not ask you to adopt a new portal. Assign Continental tickets through your company’s chosen work-order system; our coordinators receive, update and close them there, keeping the audit trail in one place for your team and your client.

Your NTE on a ticket is the most we will spend on it. If the crew finds that a job will run past it, the work pauses at the limit and we request your approval for the difference before doing more. Urgent tickets receive a response on the day they arrive, and an urgent call placed at night or over a weekend is still picked up.

Onboarding paperwork, handled quickly

Our vendor packet is available to any facility management company that asks for it through the Continental contact form. The operations team sends it by email, straight to the vendor manager or procurement lead who submitted the request.

On insurance, Continental maintains general liability of $1M per occurrence with $2M in the aggregate, an umbrella policy and workers’ compensation coverage. Continental turns a certificate request around inside one business day, and on request it names your company and the client you serve as additional insured parties.

Every crew member clears a background check before the first shift at any site, and teams work in uniform. Secure buildings often carry rules of their own, such as further screening, building-issued badges or an escort through controlled areas. Our crews follow whatever the property requires.

Inside and outside the building

Recurring janitorial services are the base of most vendor assignments, and day and night porter coverage keeps lobbies, restrooms and common areas presentable between scheduled cleanings. For the floors there is floor care and refinishing as well as commercial carpet cleaning.

Continental can also take project and periodic tickets: restroom deep cleaning, high dusting, window and detail cleaning, post-construction cleaning after a buildout, and disinfection. Outdoors, our crews take on pressure washing, parking lot sweeping and landscaping and grounds upkeep, which lets a single ticket queue cover the walkways and the lot as well as the lobby.

Visibility on every visit

The arrival and departure times of each crew are logged at every visit, which gives your team a factual answer when a tenant questions whether the building was serviced. Once an urgent request or a one-time project is complete, Continental sends photographs or a written completion note to close the loop.

Continental supervisors also inspect each building on your account. Your company receives the resulting reports or scores, so you can show your client how the site is performing without commissioning a separate audit.

A single account, however many sites

Your company is assigned one named account manager who covers all of its sites with Continental. An operations manager serves as the second point of escalation whenever the account manager is unavailable, so urgent issues have a clear next step.

We are able to start several buildings across the Bay Area, the Sacramento region, the Central Valley and the Reno area at once and run them from one consolidated schedule. Invoices can be issued per site or per ticket, and each lists the property location and the matching work order number.

That structure matters most when a client’s footprint spreads out. A client’s offices, clinics and storefronts can be scattered from the Peninsula to the Reno area, yet your vendor managers still deal with the same two Continental names and see the same invoice layout from every address. Adding another building later goes through the same account manager, not a fresh onboarding.

From first call to first shift

After you identify a property, Continental’s norm is to walk it inside two business days and begin service inside a week, so a site your team just took over is not left uncovered for long.

Start on our contact page. Note that you represent a facility management company and request the vendor packet; we respond within one business day, and our operations team follows with the packet itself.

A few useful answers

Common questions.

Do we have to go through a prime vendor, or can we contract with you?

You can contract with Continental Facilities directly. That applies to national facility management companies and to regional firms alike.

Can one ticket cover cleaning and exterior work at the same property?

Yes. Janitorial, porter, floor, window, pressure washing, lot sweeping and grounds work all come from Continental, so a mixed ticket goes to one vendor and one account manager.

How are after-hours emergencies handled?

Urgent calls are taken at night and on weekends, and every ticket marked urgent gets a same-day response from our team.

What information appears on your invoices?

Each invoice shows the property location and the work order number, and you choose whether billing is grouped per site or issued per ticket.

How do supervisors report on building quality?

Supervisors inspect your buildings and share the inspection reports or scores with your company.

One partner for the whole property. Let’s talk.
