Members pay for a workspace that is ready

A coworking membership is a promise that someone else handles the office. When a member drops a laptop on a hot desk and finds crumbs, or books a meeting room and finds yesterday’s whiteboard notes, that promise looks thin. Continental Facilities keeps the floor ready for the next person to sit down, from the front desk to the last phone booth.

Because one partner covers cleaning, porter shifts, pantry restocking, floors, glass and light maintenance, your community team spends its day on members instead of chasing vendors.

Hot desks, private offices and phone booths

Open desks are cleared of stray cups and wiped down each night, along with monitor arms, desk lamps, chair arms and the power outlets set into tabletops. Private offices are cleaned to the level your team sets for each member, with trash emptied and floors vacuumed on every visit. Phone booths and focus pods get special care: glass inside and out, the small work surface, the seat and the vent grille, since members notice a stuffy, smudged booth the moment they shut the door.

Meeting rooms are reset to a standard layout. Whiteboards are erased unless a sign says to keep the notes, tables and chairs are wiped, and the remote, cables and conference phone are cleaned and put back where members expect them.

Coffee bars, pantries and member lounges

The kitchen is where a coworking floor shows its age first. Crews clean coffee machines on the outside, wipe counters and cabinet fronts, run and unload dishwashers when the plan calls for it, clean out fridges on a set day and mop around the bar. Lounges get cushions straightened, tables cleared and soft seating vacuumed.

Our breakroom and pantry restocking crew can purchase snacks, drinks, coffee and cups and stock the shelves for you, so the pantry is full when members arrive. Restroom paper, soap and dispensers come through our janitorial supplies service.

Day porters for long member hours

Many coworking floors are open early, close late and admit members around the clock. Our day porters work the floor during member hours, checking restrooms, tidying the coffee bar, clearing tables in the lounge and handling spills before they spread. A night crew follows with the full clean, so each shift picks up where the other ended.

After an evening event or workshop, porters or the night crew reset the event space so it is ready for desk members the next morning: tables cleared and wiped, floors swept and mopped, recycling sorted and bins taken out.

Floors, glass and the details members notice

Coworking interiors lean on glass walls, polished concrete and carpet tile. Interior glass partitions and entry doors are cleaned through our window and detail cleaning crews, carpet tile is extracted on a cycle matched to foot traffic, and concrete and resilient floors are scrubbed and burnished by our floor care team.

Light maintenance keeps the space working between visits: lamp replacement, damaged ceiling tiles, faucet and toilet repairs, paint touch-ups and HVAC filter changes, all reported to your community manager when complete.

Flexible offices across the Bay Area, Sacramento and Reno

Shared workspaces fill whole floors in downtown office towers, converted warehouses and lofts, suburban business parks and the ground floors of mixed-use buildings. Our service area runs from San Francisco, Oakland and the Peninsula through San Jose and the Tri-Valley to Sacramento, Roseville and Reno, and a single plan can cover several locations across those markets.

Where a building’s landlord handles the lobby and elevators, our crew covers only your suite. Where you run the whole building, the plan can extend outside to parking lot sweeping, entry washing and landscaping.

Access, screening and how your quote comes together

Crews sign in through your access system and follow your rules for member areas and private offices. Each cleaner is background-checked before the first shift. Your company gets a certificate of insurance up front, and Continental’s coverage includes its bond and workers’ compensation for the whole crew. Supervisors visit on quality inspections and pass their notes to your community manager.

Your community manager tours the space with our service manager first, counting desks, booths, meeting rooms and kitchens and noting your member hours. The written quote then separates nightly cleaning, porter hours, pantry restocking and periodic floor and glass work, so you can scale each one as membership grows.

A few useful answers

Common questions.

Can cleaning happen while members are working?

Yes. Day porters handle restrooms, the coffee bar and spills quietly during member hours, and the full clean happens after the floor empties or during its quietest stretch.

Do private offices get cleaned differently from the open floor?

They can. Each office follows the service level your team assigns to it, and crews leave papers and personal items exactly where they found them.

Can you buy and stock snacks and coffee for our pantry?

Yes. Our pantry restocking service purchases and shelves snacks, drinks, coffee and cups on a schedule, and adds items when your team asks.

How quickly can an event space be turned back into desks?

Your plan sets the reset window, often that same night, so desk members arrive the next morning to a cleared, wiped and mopped room.

We run spaces in several cities. Can one plan cover them?

Yes. One service manager and one written plan can cover locations across the Bay Area, the Sacramento region and Reno.
